Light, color, and edges. Yes, those things excite me. Common objects being transformed into a tangled composition that moves one’s eyes in a deliberate and welcoming way. That’s why I paint.

I am fascinated with the Sight Size drawing and painting method typical of classical realism. Painting is an integral part of my life, it’s meditative and soothes my soul. And it’s not about the outcome of the painting that I most enjoy, it’s about the process of getting there.
